Finally....

ahh finally...I felt so relief after 3 weeks without internet..next week will be my 5th week of clinical posting... another 8 hectic weeks to go...

and finally, I watched one of the most greatest Japanese drama that makes everyone cried when watching it.. So dramatic..!!!!
I watched one of the episodes 2 years ago but I wouldn't dare to watch more because I know that I will cry for sure... & of course I cried for each episode..It's a true story about a girl with have a rare disease, the "spinocerebellar degeneration disease", common among Japanese age 10-20 yo.. I guess the Minamata incidence has got something to do with this disease..

The Ikeuchi family in the drama

Anyway, here are some of the verses from the drama from each episode, & some are sincere words written by the late Aya Kito...

1. My life is like a flower that hasn’t bloomed yet,
From the start of this youth,
I want to treasure it and have no regrets.

2. Okasan, in my heart,
I know I can always trust you.
From this point forward, I leave it to you.
I’m sorry for always making you worry

3. This disease, why did it choose me?
Fate, it can’t be put into words.

4. I want to make a time machine and go back in time.
If it wasn’t for this disease, not only I could enjoy falling in love but I also wouldn’t have to rely on anyone and live by myself.
++the view I see now is the same as yesterday,
the street I walk on is still the same.
But my whole world has changed
I may not be able to smile like I always do
Who I was up until yesterday, will never show up again.
Certainly…

5. I really don’t want to say things such as ,
“I want to go back to how things were before”.
I recognize how I am right now, and I will continue to live on.
++ It’s fine if I’m in pain all by myself.
In the blue sky, the white clouds float around,
And it’s really pretty to look at.

6. Eventhough I have been hurt before by those heartless glances,
This also helped me to understand that around me, there still exist some gentle glances.
Therefore I definitely won’t run away. That’s what I’ll do. Definitely, always.

7. The place where I am…
Even I do not belong here anymore, even if it’s like that, I still want to stay here. Because this is the place where I am.
To be able to be seen as an equal by my friends, I’m really thankful.

8. If you look up at the sky after falling down the blue sky today is alos stretching limitlessly and smiles ta me….I’m alive.

^_^ you are always encouraging me,
You listen to me when I say the things that I can’t say to others.
On the path to move forward, you make me happy.
You’re by my side.
When I’m feeling depressed, you always keep me company.
Thank you, Sho_kun.
Even if I want to return to the past, I can’t go back in time.
Therefore, for me, how I am right now, I want to like how I am now.
That’s what I think.
To be able to smile and tell you this, I have at least, cried one litre of tears.

9. Living for the moment.
People shouldn’t dwell on the past. It’s enough to try your best in all that you’re doing now.
To stop my pace, and live in the present,
Even though there will be a day, that I will lose it, isn’t it great that I could pass on a dream that I had to give up?

10. ^_^ The other side of suffering, by Ikeuchi Aya…
Everyone feels the pain.
But surely, after suffering satisfaction will arrive.
Even with sports, studying or other ordeals.
With life, it’s like that for everyone.
If we can beat the pain, on the other side,
a rainbow of happiness awaits us.
That will definitely become a treasure.
Let’s believe in that.

^_^ Step by step…
When my existence seems to disappear,
I will look for the place where I can do the best I can.
From now on, I’ll deliberate slowly.
I won’t be impatient.
I won’t be greedy.
I won’t give up.
Because everyone takes things step by step.

11. Far away, to a place where there are no more tears.
Whatever your walk of life is, you live here with a little more warmth in your heart, and a little more courage to face another day.
Next time you see your loved one, tell them how special they are. Next time you meet a friend, thank them for always being there for you.
Life is what you can make of it. Treasure it.
